The Brother PE-Design application will open and convert a JPEG (.jpg) file to a PES file, the native PE-Design file format. To convert a file to the PES format, you need to have the SD card used to transfer files to the Brother sewing machine. The SD card must be connected to the computer via an SD card reader. Make sure you have the Brother SD card inserted into the computer, because the conversion of the JPEG file format to the PES file type occurs when saving the embroidery file to the Brother card.
