After you have established a network connection with your computer to a certain network at least one time, the network will continue to appear in the networks list until it is manually removed. While having an inactive connection appear on your computer will not harm it, it can be annoying. The process you use to delete a network connection is similar to the process you use when adding a network connection.
Click "Start" and select "Control Panel."
Click "Network and Internet." Then select "Network and Sharing Center."
Click "Manage network connections."
Right-click the icon for the network you want to delete and select "Properties."
Select the "Networking" or "Configure" tab.
Clear the checkbox next to the connection you want to delete. Click "OK." You now have deleted the network connection.
