How to Make a Window Screen Larger

When you open a new window on a computer, it may be smaller than you would like. You can increase the size of computer windows in either your Mac or Windows computer in a few simple steps.

Windows

Step 1

Locate the title bar options at the top right corner of the window. You will see the "Minimize," "Maximize" and "Close" buttons.

Step 2

Click the "Maximize" button to expand the window to full screen. This is the button in the center that looks like a square.

Step 3

Click the "Maximize" button again, which now looks like two small squares, to make the window small again.

Step 4

Click and hold the edge of the window to be able to drag it to expand it. Release the mouse button to set it at the expanded position.

Step 1

Click and hold the bottom right corner of the window.

Drag the corner to the size you prefer.

Step 3

Release the mouse button when you have expanded the window to your liking.
