The Android operating system, available on various smartphones and tablet PCs, supports the ability to copy and paste text using a clipboard -- once you copy a text, you can paste it in any text box. This includes content from text messages, email, text editors and text boxes found on Web pages. Because there is no mouse or keyboard shortcuts available for the Android, you must use a "long touch" movement to perform this operation.

Step 1

Navigate to the text box or area where you want to paste the information.
