How to Remove Borders in CorelDraw

By Darla Ferrara

CorelDraw is a vector graphics program produced and marketed by Corel Corp. The software creates graphics that make use of geometrical primitives such as points, curves and lines. With CorelDraw, you can design your own logos and graphic images for presentations, web sites and print media. While CorelDraw is easy to use, you still must take the time to learn the basics. Removing the borders on an object requires use of just two tools on the design platform--the pick tool and the outline tool.

Step 1

Open CorelDraw on your computer.

Step 2

Load the file that you need to alter or create an new object.

Step 3

Click on the “Pick Tool”--this is the large white arrow on the left side of the screen.

Step 4

Select the object of the stage that has borders.

Step 5

Click on the Outline tool. This icon looks like a fountain pen and is located on the left hand side of your screen, above the tipping paint bucket (Fill tool).

Step 6

Move your pointer to the white square icon with an “X” drawn over it and click on the square. This removes the border of the highlighted object.
