How to Set the Time on a Samsung 42-Inch HDTV

Many functions of Samsung HDTV models rely on the television’s clock being set. The clock settings affect timer features and can affect recording if the TV is linked to a DVR or other recording device. When the clock is set, a viewer can also check the time on the television screen with a click on the remote. The clock on Samsung TV models can be set manually or automatically if the set is connected to a digital signal such as a cable box.
