A major benefit of using Instacart to shop is being able to get exactly what you need from participating local stores while staying safe at home. Although it might be difficult to land a delivery time right now amid the high demand of the app (if that's the case for you, check out our Instacart delivery trick), there's another huge benefit: wholesale clubs.

Through Instacart, you can shop at wholesale clubs like Sam's Club, Costco, and BJ's without being a member. Open the Instacart app to check the available stores near you, and if a wholesale club is on the list, you're good to go, even if you don't have a membership.

Orders must be at least $10, and you'll have to pay the service fee, delivery fee, and tip like usual. But if you plan on using Instacart more than once a month, consider paying the $9.99 Monthly Express membership, which gives you free delivery on orders over $35.

And just a little tip from personal experience: I couldn't find toilet paper or paper towels anywhere (like most people), so I looked at Sam's Club through Instacart and they had plenty in stock. Might be worth it to check.
