The monthly price of YouTube TV just went up by $15, which is pretty big hike for a streaming service. Users were paying $50 a month for access to everything YouTube TV offers, and now they'll be paying $64.99.
YouTube announced the sharp increase in a blog post, explaining that it's due to bringing on more of ViacomCBS's family of brands, including BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land, and VH1. BET Her, MTV2, MTV Classic, Nick Jr., NickToons, and TeenNick will also be joining YouTube TV at a later date.
YouTube TV now offers 85 channels, including Cinemax and HBO Max, which were introduced back in May.
