How to Cancel an Account With Indeed.com
Learn how to permanently cancel your Indeed account and stop receiving emails from the site or from potential employers.
If you've found a job and do not plan on using Indeed's platform in the near future, you can cancel your account by sending a request to the site's customer support team.
If you simply want to stop receiving emails from Indeed, consider deleting any active job alerts and making your resume private instead of canceling your entire account. To cancel a job alert, open one of the job alert emails sent to you by Indeed and click the Cancel link. Alternatively, visit the job alerts page on Indeed's website. Make your resume private — and therefore prevent employers from finding you in the search results — by editing your resume's privacy settings on the Indeed Resume page.
Visit the Submit a Request page on Indeed's website.
Select Job Seeker from the first drop-down menu and My Account from the second one. Enter Cancel My Account in the text field and click the Continue button to proceed to the next page.
Click the Send Us a Message link.
Enter your cancellation request and your email address. Click the Send Message button to forward your request to the Indeed customer support team, which will notify you when your account has been deleted.
To allow the customer service representative to find your account, enter the same email address that you use to log in to the Indeed website.
