How to Upload Files for a PayPal Dispute

The PayPal Resolution Center lets you provide additional evidence to resolve an existing dispute.

The PayPal Resolution Center provides a platform to sellers and buyers for managing, claims, disputes, chargebacks and appeals. You can also use the Resolution Center to solve any account status issues you may experience, such as lifting any restrictions or limitations that may be placed on your account. You can provide PayPal with the appropriate evidence to resolve an account issue, claim or dispute by uploading files directly to them within the Resolution Center.

Step 1

Open your Web browser and go to PayPal.

Enter your email address and password, then click "Log In."

Step 3

Click "Resolution Center" located under the main menu at the top of the page.

Click the "Resolve" button located next to the dispute in the list.

Step 5

Click "Resolve Complaint."

Step 6

Click the circle next to "I will provide other evidence for this dispute by fax, file attachment, or note," then click "Continue."

Step 7

Click the "Browse" button, locate the file you want to upload, then click "Open." Type a brief description of up to 100 characters about the file in the empty field.

Step 8

Repeat the previous step if you have additional files you want to upload.

Step 9

Click the "Send Files" button to upload the files to PayPal.
