Cell phones can accumulate grime and germs over a period of time. Rather than continuing to place a dirty phone next to your face, try periodically cleaning your phone with hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is inexpensive and effective in killing germs on your phone.
Pour about a fourth of a cup of hydrogen peroxide into a small container.
Dip the corner of a clean rag into the hydrogen peroxide.
Squeeze any excess out of the rag.
Gently wipe the back of your phone and dry it with a clean, dry rag.
Dip a cotton swab into the hydrogen peroxide and gently squeeze the tip with your fingers to make sure none is dripping off.
Use the swab to clean the keypad and sides of the phone.
Dip the corner of a clean rag into the hydrogen peroxide, squeeze the rag and wipe the display of your phone.
Use a clean, dry rag to wipe off your entire phone.
Things You'll Need
Be sure not to get the rags or swabs too wet, and dry the phone thoroughly immediately after cleaning. Excess moisture can damage or destroy your cell phone.
