How to Configure a Controller in Fusion Emulator

Configure controller buttons before playing games with the Kega Fusion emulator.

Emulate a variety of classic Sega game consoles with Kega Fusion, including Sega CD, Sega Genesis and GameGear. The Kega Fusion emulator supports several input methods, including the keyboard, mouse and game controllers. Before using a game controller, you'll need to set up the controller configuration and assign buttons to their correct commands.

Step 1

Click "Options" and select "Set Config... ."

Click the "Controllers" tab.

Step 3

Select the type of controller you wish to emulate from the "Port 1" menu. If you are emulating a Sega Master System or GameGear, select "Port 1" in the "Master System/GameGear Controllers" section.

Select the controller you will assign from the "Use" menu.

Step 5

Click "Define." You will be prompted to press a button to correspond to the emulated controller buttons.

Step 6

Press the buttons on the controller to assign them to emulated buttons until the prompts for every button have been completed.

Step 7

Select a controller type from the "Port 2" menu if you are configuring a second controller for the emulator. Repeat Steps 4 to 6 for the second controller.
