The Apple iPhone provides a lot of the same commands and functions present on your laptop or desktop. You can select a single word or a block of text and copy it. This will save you time and allow you to type, rearrange and send text faster. Instead of accomplishing this with a mouse, the iPhone uses insertion points that are similar to cursors on computer word editing programs.
Step 1
Press the "Home" button, then slide your finger over the unlock prompt to access the iPhone's home screen.
