Desktop icons are placed on a computer's main start-up screen, giving easy access to programs and software titles. If you subscribe to Comcast and have the Comcast connection software installed on your system, you may want to create a desktop icon for the program. This prevents you from navigating through the Start menu every time you want to access the content.
Step 1
Click the "Start" button on your desktop, select "All Programs" and hover the mouse over the Comcast Internet program.
