How to Create a YouTube Account
This article walks you through creating a Google account to sign into YouTube and make use of your YouTube channel.

Share your videos and comment on other people's videos with a YouTube account. Use a Google account to sign up for a YouTube account, subscribe to channels, leave comments, upload videos and create your own YouTube channel.
Create a YouTube Account
Step 1: Go to the YouTube website and click the Sign in button in the upper right corner.
Step 2: Click Create an account if you don't have a Google account.
If you already have a Google account, you don't have to create a new account, but can simply sign in and use YouTube.
Step 3: Fill out the form with your personal information and the username and password you want to register for your Google account.
Step 4: Fill out the CAPTCHA text box, check the box to agree to Google's terms of service and click Next Step to finish the registration.
Step 5: Note that you now have a Google account with which to sign into YouTube.
If you delete your Google account, you lose your YouTube account and all data stored on it.
Step 6: Go to the YouTube Sign in page and sign in with your new account. Click the Sign in button.
Start a Channel and Upload a Video
Step 1: Click the menu button in the upper left corner and choose My Channel from the sidebar to create your own channel.
Subscribe to your favorite channels by clicking Add Channels in the Subscriptions section from the sidebar.
Step 2: Click OK to confirm the new creation of your new YouTube channel.
Step 3: Type status updates in the Share your thoughts text box under the Home tab.
Step 4: Click the Upload button in the upper-right corner to choose a video file to upload and share on your channel.
Step 5: Click the up arrow to choose video files from your computer. Click Public if you want to change who can view the video; choose Unlisted or Private.
