Sony Walkman MP3 players have several settings users can adjust according to their listening preferences. Hold down the "Back" button on the device until the "Home" menu appears on the screen.

Step 2

Use the navigation buttons to highlight "Settings" and press the ">||" button on the Walkman. Several options will appear on the screen.

Step 3

Choose "Reset All Settings" with the up and down arrow buttons and press ">||." A new screen will pop up on the screen with a "Yes" and "No" option.
