While CyberLink PowerDirector is typically a stable application to use for editing video, some situations can cause a program failure. You may be able to fix PowerDirector by resetting the RichVideo and application settings. However, each PowerDirector component has its own separate resource files that load and unload from memory when called to do so. During this process, certain situations may cause these files to become corrupted, necessitating a full reinstall of the program.
