Adobe Flash is a multimedia platform that was originally designed by Macromedia. Because of its versatility, more and more websites are integrating flash images into page themes. Moreover, flash is used to improve the overall appeal of a site by adding animation. Although the process of acquiring flash images is different than saving standard images, it is still possible to get images from flash Web pages.

Step 1

Open your browser. Load the Web page and let the image play fully.

Click "Tools," then "Page Info." Select the "Media" icon on the top menu.

Download the flash file. Choose a file that ends in .swf and click "Save As." Select a file name and click "Save."

Internet Explorer

Step 1

Open your browser. Load the Web page and let the image play fully.

Click "Tools," then "Internet Options." Click the "Settings" button beside "Browsing History" in the "General" tab.

Step 3

Click "View Files" in the "Temporary Internet Files and History Settings" menu.

Step 4

Download the file. Right-click on the .swf file and select "Save As."
