How to Make a WiFi Adapter Work With Bluetooth

Making a Wi-Fi adapter and a Bluetooth adapter work together and communicate with one another involves bridging the two connections. Creating a network bridge can allow you to share your wireless Internet connection over a Bluetooth connection, enabling devices that are Bluetooth compatible but not Wi-Fi compatible to access the Web.

Step 1

Click one time on the "Windows Logo" button in the lower left corner of your desktop.

Click "Network and Sharing Center."

Click "Manage Network Connections."

Highlight the icon that represents your computer's Bluetooth adapter and the icon that represents you computer's Wi-Fi adapter using your mouse cursor. Right-click on either of these two highlighted icons and click "Bridge Connections" to allow your Wi-Fi adapter to work with your Bluetooth adapter.
