How to Make Your Text Bigger on Twitter

By Dustin Thornton

When browsing through your Twitter account, you may find it difficult to read the small on-screen text. Fortunately, there is a way to increase the size of the text that displays on your Twitter account, as well as any other website you might visit. You can do this by increasing the size of the text in the browser you're using to view Twitter. This process is universal between Web browsers, but slightly different for Macs and PCs.

Step 1

Open your Web browser and visit Twitter.com.

Step 2

Press the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and hold it down, if using a PC. Press the "Command" key on your keyboard and hold it down, if using a Mac.

Step 3

Holding down the key in Step 2, press the "+" key on your keyboard to increase the size of the text on your Twitter page.

Step 4

Holding down the key in Step 2, press the "-" key on your keyboard to decrease the size of the text on your Twitter page.

Tips & Warnings

  • On PCs only, you may also hold down the "Ctrl" key while scrolling your mouse wheel up or down to adjust text size on your Twitter page.
