If you're having problems connecting to the Internet, you may need to reset your Netgear modem. Internet connection problems can arise from a variety of problems including IP address conflicts and network password problems. Resetting the Netgear modem will restore it to the factory default settings and may resolve any conflicts that you are having.
Locate the reset button on the rear panel of the modem. It should say "Reset" in small lettering near the button.
Press down on the reset button and hold it for about 10 seconds.
