Print your saved graphing image on your personal computer.

If you have a Texas Instruments TI-84 graphing calculator, then you may be wondering how to print a graph that you have charted on your screen. The TI-84 does not have direct printing capabilities. However, you can save your graph as an image file and transfer the file to your home computer. Connect your personal printer and you can print the image easily.

Step 1

Turn on your TI-84 graphing calculator.

Open the "DRAW STO" menu. Select "StorePic."

Step 3

Enter a number 0 through 9, which represents "Pic0," "Pic1" and so on. This will represent the file name of your graph.

Step 4

Press "Enter" to store the graph. Pull up the graph by opening the "DRAW STO" menu and then selecting "2:RecallPic." Enter the number of your graph file and press "Enter."

Plug a SilverLink Cable into the calculator and into your computer.

Open the "TIConnect Software" on your computer. Click the "TIScreenCapture" icon. Save your image as a jpeg file.

Step 7

Print your graph from your computer.
