If the LED indicator light on your Sony Wega TV is blinking and the TV is not turning on, this usually indicates an internal problem with the set.
Step 1
Turn the power off and then back on using the "Power" button on the TV. You might have to wait up to two minutes as the projection lamp might take some time to cool before it can turn on again.

Unplug the television from the wall outlet, wait a few minutes and plug it back in. Plug it in to a different wall outlet or power strip to ensure that the outlet is not faulty.
Step 3
Reset the TV to factory default settings. With the TV turned on, press and hold the up arrow on the remote, press and release the "Power" button and release the arrow button. The TV turns off and resets to its default settings.
Step 4
Replace the lamp if the lamp LED is blinking. Remove the lamp cover on the back of the television, slide out the old lamp and slide in a replacement lamp. Use the same lamp model that is currently in your TV. Refer to your TV's User's Manual for more information about replacing the lamp for your specific set.
