Kingston Micro Secure Digital (MicroSD) cards are small flash memory cards that can be inserted into many cell phones, MP3 players and other electronic devices to provide a storage boost. While most SD card readers are too large for MicroSD cards, you can still use them by first placing them in a Kingston card adapter. Once you place the MicroSD card into the adapter, it can be used in any regular SD card reader.
