Bypassing the restrictions put in place on your computer by the Fortiguard program allows you to visit websites that the application normally prevents you from accessing. Fortiguard is a program that network administrators install on computers connected to a company's or educational institution's network to prevent users from accessing certain types of websites. You can access websites Fortiguard blocks by using a web proxy server, which is a website that hides the domain name of the real website you are trying to access.
Open your regular Internet browser and visit the homepage of a web proxy server (see the Resources section).
Type the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) address of the website you want to access in the field.
Press the "Go" or "Visit" button to connect to that website anonymously.
