If you're looking for an educational activity for your kids this summer, check out Outschool. It's a new online platform aims to keep kids engaged in learning, while having fun at the same time.
The program offers over 8,000 classes for kids as young as 3 years old all the way to 18. Classes include topics like cupcake decorating, mindfulness tactics, learning to draw cats, learning about architecture through Minecraft, learning Spanish from Taylor Swift songs, discovering how to make money at any age, forensic science, along with traditional classes like algebra and world history.
Browse through classes based on the day and time, age group, or subject.
All classes are taught by qualified adults, mostly independent teachers, who have had background checks. The price of classes average from $5 to 15 a class, making it an affordable and engaging summer activity (or year round activity—the classes aren't limited to only summer).
Kids will need access to a laptop, computer, or smartphone with a microphone and web cam.
Another cool thing—Outschool classes may be able to count for school credit. You'll just need to check with your school.
