Google's Super Bowl ad was designed to make us cry—and it's succeeding big time. The heart-breaking commercial features an elderly man asking Google Assistant to remember lovely little tidbits about his presumably late wife, Loretta.
"Hey Google, show me photos of me and Loretta," he asks, prompting two photos of them to appear—one from when they were young and one from recent times. "Remember she hated my mustache," he laughs.
Google Assistant replies, "OK, I'll remember that." The man continues to reminisce about the memories he has of his wife, and Google Assistant continues to keep track of them for him.
The ad is so raw and relatable, it's leaving a huge impression on so many—especially those who have family members who are living with or who have died from Alzheimer's disease.
