AT&T U-verse is AT&T's fiber-optic cable TV, digital phone and high-speed Internet service line. There are currently (as of October 2011) one residential gateway and one wireless router branded for use with AT&T high-speed Internet service. There's the 2Wire DSL gateway model 2701HG-B and the Motorola Wi-Fi business router model 3347. Similar to a router, the gateway is a device used to connect multiple Internet-ready devices to the same network. To change the settings on your AT&T U-verse gateway or router you must access the device's graphic user interface.
