How to Disable Proxy Settings

Disable Proxy Settings

Enabling proxy settings provides additional privacy and security for your network connection. It also allows you to increase the data transfer speeds and bypass filters or parental controls. If you are setting up access to a VPN (Virtual Private Network) or already within a secured network, you can safely disable these settings. Disabling proxy settings can be easily accomplished through any of your Web browser applications by accessing the "LAN settings" menu options.
