When you want to adjust the colors, you can either change the color scheme, the color quality, brightness or contrast ratio on the monitor. Note that brightness is the shine of the white color and contrast the radiance ratio of white to black in the center of the screen. The process for adjusting colors would vary slightly depending on your computer's operating system. Here is how to adjust colors on an LCD monitor for most operating systems.

Adjusting Color Scheme and Quality

Step

Go to the "Start Menu" of your operating system and click on the "Control Panel" from the menu. A new window will appear on the screen.

Select the "Display" option from the "Control Panel" and click on it.

Choose the "Settings" tab from the new window. View the color option in this window. You will have options of 16 bit, 32 bit and more.
