Check your display drivers.

All computers use a display adapter, commonly known as a graphics or video card. Computers vary on what kind of display adapter they use, some being integrated into the motherboard while others are installed as a separate component (the latter type is more commonly found in higher end computers needing more intensive graphic capabilities, such as gaming or photo and video editing). You can view the installed display drivers on your PC to see if you have the most up-to-date version.
