Sharp is a manufacture of many household electronics, including televisions. While Sharp has been making LCD televisions for a number of years, a newer and thinner LCD line with better resolution called Aquos has hit the market. Like most LCD screens, care and caution should be taken while cleaning since permanent damage can easily occur. The common method for cleaning a Sharp Aquos is provided in the manual; however, prior to cleaning, read your model's manual to be sure this method still corresponds for your specific Aquos model.
Unplug your television. Use the provided cloth that came with your Aquos television. If not, use a clean soft-lint free cloth, such as one used for eyeglasses.
Spray the cloth lightly with just water. The Sharp Aquos manual says not to use aerosol or liquid cleaners.
Wipe the LCD screen lightly. Do not apply any pressure, as that will damage the screen. Use the same method to clean the outer cabinet of your Sharp Aquos television, per manual instructions.
