The Ogg format is a free, open-source audio format that provides users with high-quality audio containing lower bitrates and a smaller file size than many other formats. VLC Media Player, meanwhile, is an open-source audio-video player and transcoder that converts to and from dozens of formats, including Ogg to MP3. Please note that since MP3s tend to have lower bitrates but are larger in size, you may lose some audio quality during conversion. Your converted MP3s will also be larger in size.
