You may want to copy a photo album from Facebook to your computer for a variety of reasons. For example, if you've had a computer failure, you may use Facebook to restore your photos or you can download pictures that others have taken in which you've been tagged, from Facebook's dynamic "tagged" album. Although you can manually download every photo, some services allow you to download one or more albums directly.
Navigate to the Photograbber page in your browser. Click the download link from the left sidebar for either Windows or Mac, depending upon your operating system.
Double-click the downloaded file to open the archive folder. Click "Extract All Files" on Windows to unzip the program files. Double click the application file "pg" to and allow it to run, if prompted.
Click the "Login" button on the screen that appears and Photograbber will open in your browser. Log in to Facebook and press the "Allow" button. Facebook will show a special code. Copy and paste that into the Photograbber window and click the "I want to download" button.
Select "Myself" from the list and check "Albums uploaded by the user" to instruct the application to download your albums. Click the blue "Begin Download" button.
Choose a location to save your downloaded photos and click the "Ok" button. Photograbber will download photos to that location and show you the download status on the bottom of the window.
Go to the Fotobounce website at fotobounce.com. Click the "Fotobounce for Windows" (or Mac, if you do not use Windows) icon to save the app from your computer. Double-click to open the file and install the application.
Open Fotobounce if it does not open automatically after installation completes. Click "Login" under the Facebook heading from the left pane. Sign into your Facebook account and, if you'd like, click the option to remain signed into Fotobounce. Click the "Allow" button to grant access to your information.
Click the "Photos" link, after signing in to Facebook, to view your albums. Click one or more albums and click the "Download" button from the right pane.
Select the Fotobounce album to which you wish to save your photos. For example, you can choose "Collections," "Events" or "Places" or click the "New album" button. Click the "Select album" button after selecting the destination album. Your album(s) will now be saved to Fotobounce in the "Albums" section.
Open the containing album on Fotobounce, right click your downloaded albums and select "Export to a Folder" to choose a location to save the photos on your computer. Click "That's it" to close the program after downloading finishes.
Install the Download Facebook album app if you use Chrome as your browser from the Chrome Web Store at chrome.google.com/webstore. The download is free.
Navigate to a Facebook album in Chrome and click the Facebook album icon that will appear next to your address bar.
Press "Control" and "S" simultaneously on your keyboard to save a copy of the webpage to your computer, including all your photos.
Open the folder from the location where you saved it. Delete any files that are not photos.
