You can create free banners on your Mac.

Your Mac computer comes with an installed application that allows you to make banners. Whether you require a decoration for a party or need a large sign, use the AppleWorks program available on your Mac OS 9 and early Mac OS X systems, or opt for the Pages program, which is included in your iWorks application on a newer computer. Using the available program in your "Applications" folder, create a free banner on your Mac.
