Facebook users connect with friends by sharing personal information about their lives. Posting photos offers your friends a look inside the moments of your life you choose to share, which can include anything from holidays spent with your family to bringing home a new pet. Commenting on posted photos allows users to connect even more. For some, the idea of friends posting their thoughts might seem unappealing. If you prefer to share your photos in a comment-free manner, you can adjust your privacy settings in just a few steps.
Log in to your Facebook account using your email address and password.
Select the "Privacy Settings" option located under the "Account" tab in the upper right corner.
Locate the "Sharing on Facebook" section and click the "Customize Settings" link at the bottom.
In the "Things Others Share" section, click the drop-down menu located next to the "Permission to Comment on Your Posts" option. Select "Customize."
Click the drop-down menu located next to the "These People" section and select "Only Me." Click "Save Setting" to submit your setting adjustment.
Preventing others from commenting on your photos will make them unable to comment on your status updates and Wall posts as well.
