The Facebook website offers various privacy settings to help safeguard your social networking experience. Choose your friends, edit your personal information settings and decide who can see your profile, photos and other shared data. With the Limited Profile option, Facebook allows you to select what information other users can view on your profile. Users you place on your Limited Profile list can only view profile information you grant them.
Click the "Friends" link in the left panel of your Facebook home page. Click "Edit Friends."
Select the "Limited Profile" list from submenu that appears. Then click "Edit List." If you don't see the list, click "Create a List," name it and set access restrictions.
Enter a user's name into the "Add to List" field to add them to your Limited Profile list.
Select the "Limited Profile" link from the Friends submenu again. Your Limited Profile list loads to the main page. Click the drop-down arrow next to the friend you want to remove from the list, then deselect the "Limited Profile" option.
Click the "Home" tab at the top of page to return to your Facebook home page.
