The Toshiba Satellite is a laptop line that comes with the Microsoft Windows operating system and offers features such as a Web camera, Wi-Fi and CD/DVD drive. Use the Num, or number, lock when you want to utilize the number pad. On the Toshiba Satellite, there is no number lock button; you have to press two keys together at the same time, and you can tell which one initiates the number lock function by the image on its key.

Step 1

Press the "Power" button on the Toshiba Satellite. It looks like a circle with a vertical line in the middle and should be located at the top of the keyboard.
