How to Look Up Someone's Address by Name

By Daniel Hatter

One of the nice things about the Web is the quick method it offers for finding people. With numerous sites specifically dedicated to helping people find other people and a little information, you can find nearly anyone. If you have someone's name and need to get her address, you can do so by using one of the many people-search websites.

Step 1

Look up someone's address with Yahoo! People Search (See Resources). Type the first name or initial of the person you're searching for into the "First Name/Initial" text box, type her last name into the "Last Name" text field and, if you know it, type her city and state into the "City/Town" and "State" text boxes. Click "Search" to look up her address.

Step 2

Look up an address with White Pages Find People (See Resources). Type the person's first name into the "First name" text box, type her last name into the "Last name" text box and, if you have this information, type her city/state or ZIP code into the "City, State or ZIP" text box. Click "Find" to look up her address.

Step 3

Look up an address with Switchboard Digital Directory (See Resources). Type her first name into the "First Name" text box, type her last name into the "Last Name" text box, type her city of residence or ZIP code (if you know it) and, if you know it, select the person's state of residence from the drop-down box. Click "Search" to look up her address.
