You can make PDF files smaller for uploads by zipping the PDF files. This task can be completed using software that is already installed on your computer, whether it be a Mac or a PC. Once the files are zipped, they can easily be uploaded as one file. When you wish to open them, you'll simply have to unzip the files.

On a Mac

Click the Finder.

Browse through your computer files to find the PDF files you want to make smaller for uploads.

Create a new folder to place these PDF files within. Do this by clicking "File" and selecting "New Folder".

Name the new folder to represent your PDF files.

Step 5

Drag the PDF files you want to make smaller for uploads into this folder.

Right-click or control-click this folder and select "Create Archive Of". After doing so, a zip file of the folder containing your PDF files will appear. You have now successfully made PDF files smaller for uploads.
