An .FLA file is an Adobe Flash source file which can contain text, graphics or animation. You can edit an .FLA file, or convert and save it to a Shockwave Flash (SWF) or Flash Video (FLV) file. If you have the Adobe Flash application installed, you can play the .FLA file from within Flash, or convert the file to play in an Adobe Flash Player plugin for a Web browser.
Right-click on the .FLA file.
Click the "Open With" option.
Click "Adobe Flash." The .FLA file opens in the Adobe Flash program.
Click the "Control" option on the top navigation bar in Adobe Flash.
Click the "Test Movie" option to play the .FLA file in Adobe Flash.
