Partition encryption on your Kingston flash drive protects the stored data, but sometimes you want to forgo the protection of an encrypted partition in lieu of a general partition that can be read by anyone. Remove encrypted status from the partition of your drive by formatting the partition using a non-encrypted standard, a process that takes just minutes to complete.
