If you have a problem with your Charter Communications account or one of your Charter services, there are two ways you can report the problem. You can call Charter or use its online chat service, Chat Live, and talk to a customer service representative. After you are connected to a representative, you can describe your problem, and the Charter Communications representative will help solve the issue.
Call Charter Communications
Use a phone to dial Charter Communication's toll free number: 888-438-2427.
Enter the 10-digit telephone number associated with your Charter account.
Say what you are calling about or press the number associated with your problem. For example, say "Cable" or press "5" for account problems.
Report your problem when you are connected to the customer service representative.
Report the Problem Using Chat Live
Launch Charter Communication's Chat Live.
Enter the first and last name, email address and phone number associated with your Charter Communications account.
Select the type of problem you want to report and click "Submit." For example, select "Billing" if you want to report a problem with your billing statement. A chat box will open and you will be notified when a Charter representative is available.
Type the problem you have in the chat box and click "Submit." The representative will assist you.
You can also use the Ask Charter service to see if a solution to your problem is already posted online. For example, if you want to find out how to pay a bill online, enter "How do I pay my bill?" in the search form, press "Submit" and follow the instructions that appear.
