The Comcast Digital Transport Adapter, or DTA, facilitates the connection between your television, VCR or DVD player and your cable wall outlet to provide premium cable channels. Resetting will correct a number of issues including a lost signal, frozen channels or channels that display a blue screen. Once the device is reset, it may take several minutes to refresh and for your display to return.
