Adobe Illustrator offers two types of outlines for graphics projects. Designers may choose to convert their text into outlines or paths. This allows them to manipulate specific points of the text to create custom effects. The other type of outline is a special preview mode that makes it easier to examine different aspects of a complex design. This special preview mode may be applied to specific layers or the entire project. You may undo either one of these outline functions in a few simple clicks.
