Most Windows programs perform a variety of actions upon installation. Program files are copied to the Programs folder of your hard drive, certain settings and installation information is copied to the Windows Registry and sometimes folders for personal files are created in your User Profile folder. Windows "Programs and Features" is a simple and fast way to cleanly uninstall almost any program on your computer. You can also change or repair particular programs with the same feature.

Step 1

Click on the "Start" button and then click on "Control Panel." Click on "Programs" and then click on "Programs and Features."
