The Install Shield Wizard is a piece of software that is used by software developers to build Windows Installer programs, which are used to install applications on the Windows operating system. You may remove the Install Shield Wizard program by going through the Windows Control Panel "Programs and Features" application.
Step 1
Click on the Windows Start Menu button and choose the "Control Panel" option. A new window will appear in which a list of Control Panel items will be present.

Select the Install Shield Wizard program and click on the "Uninstall" button. Confirm the uninstallation of the program by clicking on the "OK" button. The uninstallation of the program should take approximately one minute, with slight variation depending on the speed of your computer.
