Bluetooth allows your computer communicate with other wireless devices. You have the option to print, scan, network or access the Internet. If you do not have Bluetooth, use your cell phone instead. First, you need to verify your phone is Bluetooth-enabled. To access the Internet, you must have a subscription to a data plan.
Press the "MENU" button on your phone. Navigate to "Connections" and "Bluetooth" from the options. Click the "Enable" selection.
Attach the USB cable to your phone. Connect the other end to an available USB port on your desktop computer or laptop.
Look for the message on your computer that says, "Add a New Device" or "Add New Connection." Follow the setup wizard to install your Bluetooth phone.
Click "Start" and "Computer." Right click your phone's icon and click "Dial Up-Networking." Enter a username, password and phone number to complete the connection.
Navigate back to your "Computer" menu. Double-click the icon of any Bluetooth-enabled devices your phone detects.
Make sure to disable Bluetooth when out in public. This prevents others from accessing your data and personal information.
