Computer setting changes can occasionally render a system unstable or unbootable, necessitating a reversal in order to return the system to its original sterling form. This can be accomplished using the built-in "system restore" feature within your operating system. This is a program that remembers your computer's settings from an earlier time, allowing you to return to those settings to troubleshoot computer problems.
Click "Start," open "All Programs," open "Accessories," click on "System Tools" and open the "System Restore" program.
Click on the "Restore my computer" option.
