How to Embed Pictures in Facebook Comments

Embedding a picture into a Facebook comment can be accomplished, but the website does not provide a built-in tool to do so. If you want to use a Facebook page to promote your brand, you can add pictures to a comment to provide product images, advertisements or charts showing useful information. However, for the image to display in the comments, you must use a publicly viewable image hosted online.

Step 1

Navigate to the website that hosts the image you want to embed in a comment. If your image exists only on your computer, first upload it to a file hosting service such as Flickr, TinyPic or ImGur.

Right-click on the image in a Web browser and select "Copy Image URL" or similar option from the drop-down menu.

Step 3

Click the "Comment" link on the status update you want to respond to in Facebook. Then, right-click and select "Paste" to copy the URL to the comment field. This will automatically display the image underneath the URL in the comment when you post.
