How to See the Most Recent Web Pages Searched on Your Computer

View visited Web pages in the browser's History list.

Sometimes it's a good idea to keep track of where your employees are going when they're on the Internet. Checking is as simple as taking a look at the sites a computer has visited, which can be found in the History section. If more than one brand of Web browser is installed on the computer in question, check each browser's history to see the most recent Web pages visited.

Check History on Internet Explorer

Open Internet Explorer.

Click the "Favorites" icon near the address bar. The Favorites icon displays an image of a star. The Favorites window opens.

Click the "History" tab. The history list of visited Web pages is displayed by date and time the page was viewed.

Check History on Firefox

Step 1

Open the Firefox browser.

Press the "CTRL" + "SHIFT" + "H" keys simultaneously. The History library window opens.

Step 3

Click on a date entry to view pages visited on that date.

Step 1

Open the Google Chrome browser.

Click the "Chrome Menu" button on the browser's top navigation bar. The Chrome menu displays.

Step 3

Click the "History" option in the Chrome menu. The History list displays.

Step 4

Click on a date entry to view pages visited on that date.
